F.P. Buckels' Diner opened Nov. 12 at 3433 S. Campbell at Savannah Square. This family-run business, owned by Jim Buckels and Ruth Henslee, specializes in homemade American food. The diner offers pasta, fresh-cut steaks, and fresh shrimp and seafood a la carte at reasonable prices. F.P. Buckels' also offers live jazz and blues on Friday and Saturday nights. F.P. Buckels' serves lunch 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., happy hour is 2:30-5:30 p.m. and dinner is served 5 p.m.-1 a.m.
