Southwest Missouri State University opened its new Art and Design Gallery at 333 S. Jefferson Dec. 4. The 7,000 square feet of new gallery space allows SMSU to present bigger art shows, local and traveling exhibitions, and permanent student work. The gallery also hosts an expanded photography department. It is open noon-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
