Moon City Cafe, 301 Park Central West, reopened Dec. 16 under new owners Heather Duff, John Duff and Richard Potter. The color scheme has changed to shades of blue, orders are taken at tableside and the menu has been expanded. "We recycled some of the great aspects of Moon City," Heather Duff said, keeping most of the existing fixtures, favorite menu items, coffee and espresso drinks, and fresh juices. The menu expansion includes "more vegetarian and vegan options," and nightly dinner specials are made in both vegetarian and nonvegetarian versions, Heather Duff said. Live entertainment is offered Friday and Saturday, and Western Wednesdays feature "good ol' music" and southwestern dining. Moon City is open 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m.-midnight Friday and 10 a.m.-midnight Saturday.
