A ribbon-cutting ceremony for The American Bible Society's Springfield Regional Office, 901 E. St. Louis, Ste. 107, will be held July 12 with the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. The office houses departments of translation, development and the Research Center for Scripture and Media. The RCSM conducts translation research and develops Bible translation principles and guidelines. It uses an online studio to experiment with media translations including video, film, CD-ROM and Internet. Dr. Robert Hodgson Jr. manages the RCSM, Dr. Donald A.
