SunRise Care and Rehabilitation Center, a long-term care facility located at 2323 W. Grand, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony June 10. The center is a 103-bed facility serving elderly and chronically ill adults. SunRise was recently purchased by Sun Healthcare Group Inc. It has been listed in the New York Stock Exchange since 1993 and currently manages more than 400 facilities in the United States as well as the United Kingdom, Spain and Australia. The home office is in Albuquerque, N.M.
