The Cigar Shoppe, 1211 W. Battlefield, held a ribbon-cutting July 1 with the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. The Cigar Shoppe offers a selection of cigars including Fuente, Partagas, Ashton, Macanudo and Bahia Gold. The shop also sells Brebbia and Aldo Velani pipes as well as sweet pipe tobaccos that may be sampled in the store. The store is owned and operated by Michele Conklin, who also owns My Place Lounge, two doors from the store.
