Downtown Funk & Junk, a boutique-style retail shop dealing in trendy, affordable fashions for young men and women, opened for business at 306 E. Walnut. The store features bright colors, funky music, glitter fabrics and antique mannequins. Also available at the store will be unusual and retro items for the dorm room or apartment. Downtown Funk & Junk also has a pre-owned clothing section where customers may trade used clothes for store credit. Store hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
