Seasons Tearoom & Gift Boutique, 938 E. Walnut, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 19 with the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. The shop features tranquil, cottage-garden surroundings and is owned by Susan Sommers Provines and Vicki Merriman Weiler. Seasons opened its doors Aug. 3, and its business hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Lunch is served 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Pastries, teas and coffees are offered throughout the day, as well as gift baskets and unique gift items in the gift shop. Seasons will later offer space for baby and wedding showers, tea parties and more.
