Fastsigns, a sign and graphic company at 610 E. Battlefield, has a new owner at its Springfield store. "We use a computer-based design technique that allows us to make signs in just one day," said John Durbin, owner. The store has a wide range of vinyl colors and type styles and has the logos of more than 2,200 companies on file. The store is being renovated to double the size of the facility, with new computers, new graphics production equipment and a showroom with trade-show booth and illuminated sign displays.
