Men's Suit Mart
Men's Suit Mart moved from its original location in the Plaza Shopping Center to a larger space in early February at 2730 S. Glenstone, in the Brentwood Center. The location offers greater visibility and 1,650 square feet of space. P.J. "Sandy" White has owned and operated Men's Suit Mart for the past eight years. The store's sales staff comprises Jim Maggi, with 30 years of experience at Barth's and Freeman's; Rex Wyatt, with 40 years' experience at Barth's and Cole's; and Basil Frost, with more than 30 years experience in sporting goods.
South Trust Capital
Mortgage opens
South Trust Capital Mortgage has opened its doors at 1200 E. Woodhurst Dr., Ste. D-100. The mortgage company provides financing options for first-time home buyers and move-up buyers, offering FHA and VA loans, 100 percent LTV and jumbo loans, and specializing in rural development lending. The local office is under the direction of Manager Jim A. Payne, who has 12 years of mortgage experience. South Trust Capital Mortgage is part of the Central Pacific Mortgage branch system, a member of Citigroup.
USH triples size with move to East Sunshine
Universal Systems House tripled its size with its move to 3534 E. Sunshine for its new training facility in late 1999. Kim Gaisford, with CJR Commercial Group, was the real estate agent for USH. The new 15,000-square-foot training facility includes six classrooms with hands-on training. USH employs 20 people including Microsoft certified systems engineers, Microsoft certified professional Internet specialists and APICS certified consultants who offer training, consulting, implementation, design and support for businesses and manufacturers.
Senior Recruiters changes lodgings
Senior Recruiters Inc. moved to a new location at 3451 S. Campbell in February. Both old and new locations are in the Savannah Square Shopping Center. The company, founded by Judy and Eric Naegler, provides personnel services in the area. Senior Recruiters specializes in "baby boomers or better." It provides temporary and temp-to-hire staffing and placement services. Fees are paid by client companies and services are free of charge to job applicants.
