The Body Enhancement Clinic opened Dec. 17 at 2902 S. Lone Pine in the Battlefield Towers. Owned by Mark and Leisa Wardlaw, the business is run by Leisa Wardlaw with the assistance of Laurie Courtney. Both Wardlaw and Courtney are licensed aestheticians. "We offer specialty facials, body wraps, body treatments, massage, but we also do something nobody else does (here) a cellulite treatment called endermologie, the only FDA-approved treatment for cellulite," Wardlaw said. The clinic also offers steam therapy and a steam bed. For the face, there is SkinMaster, which is "a step beyond microabrasion," Wardlaw said. Hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and weekends by appointment.
Gibson and Associates Professional Claims Management Inc., has relocated and expanded its home office to a new, 7500-square-foot building at 451 S. Union. Owned by Kurt and Angie Gibson, the company has operated as an independent insurance adjuster for 11 years. The company employs eight adjusters and two clerical workers, according to Diane Nielsen, a clerk. An open house is planned for spring.
