MacMurray Stone & Rock opened for business November 2001 at 4652 S. Campbell, but the spring landscaping products are just coming in, owner Mark MacMurray said. MacMurray used the winter months to get his land ready and supplies on site. He is now displaying products like natural stone, boulders, topsoil, gravel and mulch, as well as perennial flowers. MacMurray performs complete landscaping services including water gardens, night lighting, irrigation systems and retaining walls. He has one full-time and two part-time employees, and sells to both homeowners and contractors. MacMurray has 16 years experience in tree care and landscaping in the Springfield area.
RBC Mortgage, a member of the RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) Financial Group, is open for business. Loan officer Christopher Donegan works out of his home, 1232 E. Sunset St., and is available "24 hours a day." Donegan offers FHA, VA and conventional loans, mainly targeting home buyers and the credit challenged. In the future, Donegan would like to work with manufactured home dealerships. It is RBC Mortgage's fourth location in the state.
Ozark Psychological Associates LLC announced the opening of its new location at 1736 E. Sunshine, Ste. 811, in the Plaza Towers. The company moved from 2200 E. Sunshine St. last September. It was founded in 1980 by Frank E. Bartlett, M.S. and Leon Bradshaw, EdD and now has seven group members who are individual practitioners. OPA counsels both individuals and groups of all ages, including family and alternative lifestyles counseling, sexual offender therapy, abuse and neglect issues and multicultural counseling.
