Action Cycle Parts Inc. moved Feb. 5 to 1451 S. Glenstone Ave. Darrel Moore purchased the business in December 2001 and relocated it from 2111 S. Campbell Ave. He said it had operated there for eight years and the new space at about 2,000 square feet is nearly twice its size. Action Cycle Parts is a 30-year-old local business specializing in motorcycle and ATV parts and accessories. It is open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. It has two employees.

Carpets Unlimited moved March 1 to 3231 N. Glenstone Ave. The carpet store, owned by partners Ted Tabor and Brian Clay, was located at 1456 N. West Bypass for about six years. The move allowed for a nearly 50 percent increase in product volume, Clay said, and doubled the showroom space. Hours of operation are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The partners started Carpets Unlimited in 1995 out of Clay's garage. Clay said there are now about 50 employees, including managers, sales associates, installers and administrative assistants.

A new skin care clinic and day spa, Body Enhancement Clinic, opened May 17 at 2902 S. Lone Pine Ave. in the Battlefield Towers. Owned by Brad and Leisa Wardlaw, the clinic offers advanced services in skin care, cellulite reduction and steam therapies. Leisa Wardlaw is a licensed esthetician and employs three licensed assistants. Its hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturday.
