Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Springfield, a private not-for-profit organization that educates the public on debt management, moved May 31 to 1515 S. Glenstone Ave. The building was occupied and owned by Billy Long Auctioneers. CCCS purchased the building in March and performed renovations, including the addition of a classroom, in April. The move consolidates the offices at 1675 E. Seminole, suites F, G100 and G500. The organization, which has been in business here since 1969, offers budget counseling, debt management and credit education services free of charge. Mike Cherry (left), president and chief executive officer, said the company is funded by contributions from creditors. It is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, early morning weekday and Saturday appointments are also available. The office has a staff of 14 employees.

Cedar Street & Main, a home dcor and accessories shop opened March 25 at 1448 E. Republic Road. Owners Donna and Tim Brown also sell fabrics and gifts and meet custom decorating needs. The store is open 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The couple has one part-time employee.

Auto Glaze LLC, an auto detail shop in Nixa, has relocated to 106 N. Main St. Owners Tim and Tiffany McGoldrick moved the shop Jan. 1, from 748 S. Crowley Blvd., also in Nixa. The full-detail company offers windshield repair, dent removal, paint touch-up, over spray removal, headline repair, oxidation removal and pin striping. Hours of operation are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
