Pension Consultants Inc. opened May 1 in 5,400 square feet at 300 S. Campbell in the former location of Parkie’s Stained Glass. The firm’s last address was 3271 E. Battlefield, said president Brian Allen. Allen and Chris Thixton co-own the 10-year-old business. “We offer consulting services to mid- and large-size companies on their retirement plans,” Allen said. Heritage Construction was general contractor for the remodel. Dan Scott of Design Agency was architect. Allen would not disclose the cost of the building or the expenses associated with remodeling; historic tax preservation credits were utilized. Three loft apartments have been added in about 4,000 square feet upstairs, Allen added. Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Skaggs Business Office moved Aug. 18 into the Skaggs Education Center at 611 S. Sixth St. in Branson. It had operated from 251 Skaggs Road. Thirty-four employees relocated into 4,000 square feet that previously functioned as five classrooms, said Mary Jo Fisk, communications coordinator. All business-related services, insurance filing activities, PBX operations and customer service areas were moved, said Cathy Rowden, director of the business office. Additionally, ambulance services, as well as home health and hospice care, are located there. Hours of operation are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
