Instant Imprints opened Jan. 19 at 3310 S. Glenstone, Ste. A in Primrose Marketplace. Franchisees are Jeff and Kim McKinnis and David and Kim Hamm. Jeff McKinnis works at the store full time, along with one part-time employee. The company is based in San Diego and there are approximately 50 stores open, David Hamm said. Instant Imprints’ screen printing, embroidery, banners and signs are produced on site. The company also offers promotional products. Hours are 9 a.m-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday.
Bruce Lockhart and Jeff Howell opened Lockwell Heating & Air Nov. 1. The company operates from a 2,000-square-foot shop at 2011 N. Michael Lane in Nixa. Lockhart said that the company offers residential and commercial sales, service and installation of heating and air conditioning equipment. Lockwell Heating & Air is a York dealer. In addition to the owners, there is one part-time employee. Hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with 24-hour emergency service available.
Tucker & Co. PC relocated Dec. 23 to 636 W. Republic Road, Ste. B-108 in Corporate Village. Owner Joe Tucker has practiced accounting in Springfield since 1987. Office Manager Linda Tucker, Joe Tucker’s wife, said the firm’s six
full-time employees spent 2004 in a temporary location – 3354 S. National, Ste. D in Kelly Plaza – and had been located at 1715 E. Republic Road since 1995. The firm purchased the new 1,500-square-foot location for an undisclosed amount, with Deb Scott as the broker, Tucker said. The firm provides tax preparation, bookkeeping and payroll and business advisory services. Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
