Altina and Bert Shelley opened Z-CoiL Pain Relief Footwear at 2674 S. Glenstone in the Brentwood Center on Oct. 24. The couple became one of more than 200 Z-CoiL franchisees in the country and the first in Springfield. Z-CoiL shoes are designed for pain relief and average $200 per pair. “This is the only footwear designed for pain relief. Nobody else has done that because it’s probably too costly of a process,” said Altina Shelley, who was a customer before buying into the business. The Shelleys used a U.S. Small Business Administration loan through Countryside Bank to open the store. Hours are 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Superior Investigative Solutions
Paul Skinner and Tony Coleman opened Superior Investigative Solutions LLC on Sept. 1. Skinner, Coleman and three employees at the company’s Hammons Tower office, 300 John Q. Hammons Parkway, Ste. 112, offer full-service private investigating ranging from background checks to business fraud cases. Hours are 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday, though the partners work flexible hours during cases.
Davis Cellular
Luke, Keith and Lyn Davis and Heather Rush opened Davis Cellular LLC at 701 N. McCroskey, Ste. 6, in Nixa on Dec. 1. The Alltel authorized agent sells cellular phones, accessories and cellular service. Service plans range from $29 to $199 per month. Luke Davis said that more area locations are planned with the first coming Jan. 9 at 319 S. Main, Ste. D, in Rogersville. Hours are 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday.
