Frank and Cindy Stevens and Roger Evans opened Pasta Pronto on Dec. 31 at 2137 W. Republic Road in the Republic Plaza. The trio serves dine-in and carryout fast casual Italian food for $2.39 to $7.99. The dining area accommodates 62 people. Jim Stewart opened Oz Sold It on Feb. 16. Oz Sold It, registered as Ozarks Byowner.Com LLC, helps people sell their homes for flat fees instead of traditional commissions. Stewart, a licensed broker, provides for-sale signs, lists the homes for sale in print publications and on Internet sites and helps with closing paperwork. He does not physically show listed homes to prospective buyers. Fees range from $295 to $1,295. Though Stewart is based in West Plains – 38-B Court Square – he said he serves Springfield through www.ozsoldit.com. Sherri Botts moved Futons & More Furniture on Jan. 1 from the Battlefield Mall to 1315 E. Battlefield Road. Botts said the new location has 8,000 square feet of retail space, more than double that of her previous location, where she spent nearly three years.
