James and Cassie Olson moved Oaxacafe Coffee Co. on Jan. 1 to 309 E. Water St., on the eighth floor of the National Audio building. They formerly operated the roasting and wholesale coffee business as a nonprofit in Ozark. It’s now registered as a for-profit business under Lamp International Investments LLC. During the transition, Oaxacafe Coffee Co. maintained an objective to raise money for Latin America Missions Partners Inc., a Christian group that aims to boost economic activity in Latin American countries while preaching the Gospel. Carie and Brad Benton moved the headquarters for Vi360.com Inc. on April 15 from Estero, Fla., to Springfield. The Bentons formed the company in 2000 in Kansas City, writing software that enables businesses to post virtual tours on Web sites. Real estate firms commonly use their software, which they purchase through a network of 40 distributors in 25 states. “We’re working on dominating the nation,” joked Carie Benton about her company’s distribution network. Guaranty Bank
Branch manager Carol Sparlin helped open Guaranty Bank on May 2 at 2155 W. Republic Road. The full-service branch is Springfield-based Guaranty Bank’s eighth location – six in Springfield and two in Nixa. The bank’s holding company, Guaranty Federal Bancshares Inc., recorded $1.6 million in first-quarter earnings, a 30 percent increase from first-quarter 2005. A ribbon cutting at the Republic Road branch is planned for 4 p.m. May 18. Lobby hours: 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m.–noon Saturday.
