Creative Ink Architects moved July 5 to 4064 S. Lone Pine Ave. from 3534 E. Sunshine St. Bob Stockdale’s architecture firm created its own office space in an adaptive reuse of a 2,400-square-foot Galloway Village residence built in 1907. Too Hotties GroomPlex
Greg Wilhelm, Chad Gathercole and Bill VanRoekel opened Too Hotties GroomPlex on July 15 at 4560 S. Campbell, Ste. C. It’s their second male-oriented hair-cutting shop in Springfield. The barbershop is equipped with flat-screen TVs, video games, a free peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich bar, massage chairs and a pool table. The first Too Hotties opened in August 2004. Since then, the trio has sold franchise rights for 212 stores in Missouri, Texas, Arizona, South Carolina and Nevada, according to Wilhelm, who is a Culligan sales manager. Gathercole and VanRoekel also hold Culligan day jobs. Hours: 9 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.–8 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Sunday. Phone: (417) 889-4688.
Harter House
Butch and Lisa Bettlach, with sons Andrew and Bradley, opened a Harter House store June 30 at 175 Gage Drive in Hollister. The $1.6 million, 26,000-square-foot grocery store anchors Hollister Town Plaza near the new Highway 65 interchange in Hollister. It is Harter House’s fifth store.
