John Lee opened Mijuri Sushi & Rhythm on Nov. 17 at 2710 S. Campbell Ave. Mijuri Sushi & Rhythm offers Japanese food and features Asian bucket drummers called “nanta” on Friday and Saturday nights. An average dinner costs $20 to $25, according to manager Arthur Coats. Lee formerly owned Silk Road restaurant, 310 W. Battlefield Road. He closed Silk Road on Sept. 21 to open Mijuri, which occupies the former building of New York Pizzeria and Barone’s Italian Trattoria. The Silk Road building is for sale through an independent agent named Yoo Jin, according to Coats. Hours: 11 a.m.–2 p.m. for lunch and 5 p.m.–11 p.m. for dinner Monday through Saturday. Patricia Musick is managing shareholder for the Springfield office of McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips PC, which opened Sept. 5 at 1721 W. Elfindale St., Ste. 207. The Springfield office of the Kansas City-based firm has two attorneys specializing in insurance and workers’ compensation defense. McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips also has a St. Louis office.
