Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing

Mark Hartman is manager for Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing, which opened Feb. 14. The hotel, 3 Branson Landing Blvd., has 243 rooms with nightly rates ranging from $109 to $269. Some rooms have views of Branson Landing’s fountains and Lake Taneycomo; other rooms have views of downtown Branson. The hotel has a pool, fitness center and upscale Liberty Tavern restaurant. The adjoining $420 million Branson Landing boasts about 100 shops and restaurants. Hilton Hotels Corp. manages the property for owner HCW Development Co. LLC of Branson, according to Bill Tirone, director of sales and marketing. Hilton and HCW Development Co. are also teaming up on the nearby 293-room Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel and the 220,000-square-foot Branson Convention Center, both slated to open in August. The Wedding Collection

Lori Blake-Pruschen, Sonja Ellis and Shannon Johnson opened The Wedding Collection LLC on Nov. 1 at 3107 S. Campbell Ave. Blake-Pruschen, Ellis and Johnson have owned wedding-related businesses for about 15 years – Celebrated Occasions, Celebrations by Sonja and Shannon’s Custom Florals, respectively. They formed The Wedding Collection as an umbrella company for their existing businesses when they relocated from leased space at 1711 W. Battlefield Road, Ste. U, in Kansas Plaza, Blake-Pruschen said. They now own their 3,800-square-foot building and lease space to other wedding-related businesses, including a photographer, disc jockey and limousine rental company. Generations Décor & Gifts

Kim Johnson and her mother, Sandy Cravens, opened Generations Décor & Gifts on Sept. 22 at 3250 E. Battlefield Road, Ste. D, in Fox Grape Plaza. The duo sell home décor and gift items, specializing in unique tea products and locally made jewelry. Johnson said their least expensive item is a $6 package of cookies, while their most expensive item is a $7,000 hutch. Hours: 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday.
