Game X Change

Janie and Ross Williams relocated Game X Change on Feb. 18. The store moved to 2718 S. Glenstone Ave. in the Brentwood Center after spending about 10 years at 3630 S. Campbell Ave. in Kickapoo Corners. Game X Change buys, sells and trades used video games, systems and accessories as well as DVD movies. Janie Williams said the new location allows them to more directly compete with Vintage Stock, also in the Brentwood Center, and two GameStop stores, one on the southwest corner of Glenstone and Battlefield and one across the street in the Battlefield Mall. The Williamses are licensees for Springdale, Ark.-based Game X Change, which has about 60 stores in the Midwest. They also own a store in St. Robert. Hours: 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1–5 p.m. Sunday. Phone: (417) 883-8484.

Aimee Barsness, daughter of Incredible Pizza Co. owner Rick Barsness, works full time for Ellie-berry Pie as general manger. Also, Rusciano is a 2007 Springfield Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree.
