Continental Title Co.

Susanne Ross is operations manager for Continental Title Co., which opened March 1 at 1531 E. Bradford Parkway, Ste. 220. The Overland Park, Kan.-based company now has 10 locations in and around Springfield, Kansas City, St. Louis and Wichita, Kan., with plans already brewing for a second Springfield location, according to Ross. Continental Title Co. offers residential and commercial real estate closing services, title insurance, construction disbursement, and Realtor training classes and luncheons, she said. Filterfresh

Mark Johnson on July 23 was hired to develop the Springfield area for Filterfresh Coffee Service Inc. The Westwood, Mass.-based company delivers coffee and related equipment and supplies to customers on a contractual basis. Customers are usually businesses, such as hospitals and auto dealerships. Filterfresh’s services cost about 25 cents per cup, said Johnson, who is working from home initially but plans to open a commercial space within six months. Johnson was office beverage manager for three years for Jackson Brothers of the South LLC in Springfield. Hours are by appointment. Phone: (417) 288-8226.
