Executive Menswear

Raymond Eddings opened Executive Menswear on Aug. 10 at 1626 E. Republic Road, in French Quarter Plaza. Suits, ties, dress shirts and other business attire account for about 75 percent of Eddings’ inventory. Casual clothes, such as sweaters and jeans, make up the remainder. Eddings, who spent the last seven years as a certified financial planner with Peterson Wealth Advisors, said he’s targeting affluent shoppers; suits range from $500 to $900. Eddings said he opened Executive Menswear because he wanted to do something entrepreneurial, and he had previous experience working in a men’s clothing store. Hours: 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Phone: (417) 889-3331.
