Dave Compere opened Longview Capital Management LLC on May 1 at 1722 S. Glenstone Ave., Ste. NN, in Glenstone Square. Compere, a certified financial planner and registered investment adviser with ING Financial Partners Inc., offers 35,000 financial products from dozens of investment and insurance companies. Mutual funds and insurance products are his bread and butter, he said. Compere previously worked as a portfolio manager at Springfield Trust Co., where in seven years he built a $325 million portfolio, he said. Stone County National Bank

On Sept. 15, Crane-based Stone County National Bank opened its fifth branch. The new branch, which offers loan and investment services, is located at 16407 State Highway 13 in Branson West, according to Vice President and Branch Manager Emily Hine. Stone County National Bank, established in 1983, has branches in Crane, Galena, Cape Fair and Reeds Spring, with total assets of $90 million, she said. Confetti’s Niteclub

Steve Chickvary opened Confetti’s Niteclub on Aug. 16 at 3005 S. Kansas Expressway, in Kansas Station. The 7,000-square-foot club features Top 40 and dance music, and it has a private VIP room.
