Stacie and Scott Edwards started Mast-R-Pix on Oct. 4. The home-based business specializes in elevated photography, accomplished with the help of a 60-foot, retractable mast mounted to a van. Using either still or video cameras, the Edwardses target the real estate market, though Stacie Edwards said they would photograph other subjects. Prices vary, but a typical job costs around $225, she said. The idea for Mast-R-Pix came from elevated photographers in England who used hand-held poles, Edwards said. Hours are by appointment. Blackwell’s
Formerly Mr. Blackwell’s, men’s clothing store Blackwell’s moved Oct. 5 to 900 E. Battlefield Road, Ste. 120, in Battlefield Marketplace. The store had operated from 1907 S. Glenstone Ave., Ste.
