General Manager Steve Creach and about 20 employees opened Missouri’s first Camping World on Nov. 22 at 373 E. Evergreen in Strafford. The store sells new and used recreational vehicles and RV accessories, such as satellite dishes and towing packages, Creach said. This location features an 8,800-square-foot retail showroom and a six-bay shop for accessory installations. Bowling Green, Ky.-based Camping World Inc. has more than 130 locations nationally. This spot was picked to tap into Branson’s tourist traffic, and travelers are able to access the store off of Interstate 44, spokesman Dan Conley said. Another store near St. Louis is slated to open in June, Conley said. Hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Sunday. Phone: (417) 736-2341.
