LaborMax Staffing opened March 3 at 1668 E. Sunshine St. Local partner Tim Hough spent the last five years as district manager in Nevada for Excelsior Springs-based LaborMax Staffing, which operates under Anytime Labor LLC. His work impressed company founders Mike Ingham and Jonny McCreary, who offered to partner with him to open this location. Hough said he was allowed to open in any city nationwide, and he picked Springfield because of its demographics and proximity to his hometown of Mountain Home, Ark. Founded in 2000, LaborMax Staffing has 15 offices and provides short- and long-term staffing services for most industries, Hough said. Hours: 5:30 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 6 a.m.–3 p.m. Saturday and by appointment on Sunday. Phone: (417) 883-8388.
