Sang Vong opened Kyoto Japanese Grill on March 12 at 853 N. Glenstone Ave. formerly a Shoney’s and Copper Station. Kyoto Japanese Grill offers 35 types of sushi and serves beer, wine and mixed drinks. Teriyaki chicken is $6.95 for lunch and includes vegetables, rice, noodles and salad, Vong said. Steven Harrell is managing attorney for the Springfield office of Leawood, Kan.-based Bartimus, Frickleton, Robertson & Gorny PC. The law office at 1442 E. Bradford Parkway opened Jan. 2, joining offices in Leawood and Jefferson City. The firm, which was established in 1984, focuses on personal injury and commercial litigation, Harrell said. Harrell is the only attorney in the Springfield office, but he said plans are in place to hire one or two more attorneys as local business grows. Hudson Bryce LLC
Connie Rhoades and Stephanie Ponder moved marketing firm Hudson Bryce LLC on March 1 to 219 W. Commercial St., Ste. 104. Hudson Bryce designs advertising for print, radio and TV. The firm operated from 3990 N. 20th St. in Ozark since its July inception, but Rhoades said they moved to tap into the urban atmosphere on Commercial Street. “It just has the personality for our type of business,” Rhoades said.
