Gregg and Kai Stancer and two employees opened Eastway Storage Center on June 2 at 3156 E. Division St., just west of U.S. Highway 65. The 80,000-square-foot, self-storage facility contains 466 units, ranging in size from 5-by-10 feet to 12-by-30 feet. The site, which features climate control and handicap-accessible units, is monitored by a gated entry and an on-site manager, said Kyle Estes, office manager for Gregg Stancer Realty. Eastway Storage Center is the Stancers’ second storage facility; they also own and operate Elite Storage Centers in Nixa. Proactive Pest Management
Jerry and Jill Lesh opened Proactive Pest Management, a commercial and industrial full-service pest management business, July 1 in Republic, servicing southwest Missouri. The home-based business is a fully insured state-certified commercial applicators. Jerry Lesh said they do everything from residential work to commercial food production plants. He has about eight years of industry experience, previously working for a large regional company. “It was time to work for myself and earn a good living for my family,” he said. Mark McCully opened an Allstate Insurance Co. office July 1 at 3530 S. National Ave. McCully independently owns and operates the office and employs two. The agency offers a complete line of insurance products and services, including auto, property and life insurance and protection for boats, recreational vehicles and businesses. They also offer financial services, including mutual funds and annuities also are offered. Hours: 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment on evenings and Saturday.
