Susie Farbin and Diana Hicks on Aug. 8 opened their second MaMa Jean’s Natural Market in Springfield. The south-side store, 1110 E. Republic Road, Ste. 112, in Green Circle Shopping Center, serves a clientele that includes Nixa and Branson shoppers, said Hicks, whose day job is internal communications manager at O’Reilly Auto Parts. Farbin handles MaMa Jean’s day-to-day business, and Kelly Norman is manager of the new store. Hicks said Missouri Supermarket Builders completed the $500,000 infill of the 8,400-square-foot store, which joins the five-year-old MaMa Jean’s at 1727 S. Campbell Ave. in Wedgewood Center. The Green Circle store, which is locked into a five-year lease, has larger produce and freezer sections, an olive bar and Swig, a coffee and juice bar, Hicks added. A grand opening with live music and product tastings is scheduled for Oct. 11. Hours: 9 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Sunday. Phone: (417) 881-5326.

Kansans Blake and Marlene Giebler started Precision Window Defoggers LLC on Sept. 2 at 452 Royal Lane in Clever. Blake performs on-site assessments and removes moisture and cleans the interior glass of thermal pane windows. The minimum rate is $90 per window; on-site assessments cost $25, though homeowners also could assess damages at www.wefixfoggywindows.com. Hours: 24-hour service. Phone: (417) 582-2619.
