Brett Baker opened First Choice Guttering on Oct. 13 at 220 W. Lakewood St., Ste. B-107. The business offers residential gutter and guard installation and repair, and gutter cleaning. Baker says he uses 5-inch seamless aluminum guttering with either 2-by-3-inch or 2-by-4-inch downspouts. Costs vary depending on the height of the roof and where the gutter is attached. Empire Bank
Empire Bank acquired Greene County Bank in Battlefield on July 21 and reopened at the same location - 5021 S. State Highway FF - with five employees. The site is Empire's first Battlefield location and 16th Missouri location. Springfield-based Empire has operated at 1800 S. Glenstone Ave. since 1956. According to Andrew Tasset, vice president of marketing, the organization holds deposits of $615 million and has 250 employees companywide. Becky Wright is the banking center manager in Battlefield. A ribbon-cutting for the new branch was held Nov. 21. Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the lobby and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. in the drive-through Monday through Friday; 9 a.m.-noon Saturday in both. Redhead Web Development
Russ and Rosanne Frazier opened Redhead Web Development on Nov. 1 at 3044 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, Ste. 215, in Branson's Victorian Village. Redhead performs Web site design and development, online marketing, search-engine optimization, logo design, and corporate image and branding. Rosanne Frazier operated the business in her home for two years before moving to a commercial location. Russ Frazier owns Frazier Bulk Inc., an industrial construction supply company. The Fraziers plan to hire a client coordinator after the first of the year. Redhead's national client list includes Pageant Program Books in Branson and Cherry Ridge Construction in Omaha, Neb., according to www.redheadwebdevelopment.com.
