Senior Recruiters Inc. relocated Nov. 15 to 2854 N. Biagio St. in Ozark from a Springfield office. Owner Eric Naegler opened the company in 1997 as an employment agency for older workers. In 2005, Naegler added a home services division that provides nonmedical in-home assistance to those unable to care for themselves. According to office manager Kathy Vega, Senior Recruiters is fully bonded and insured, and employs four in the office and 40 in the field. Hourly rates for individual care are $14 with a four-hour minimum, and $150 per day for 24-hour assistance. Hours: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone: (417) 581-1780.

Obelisk Home LLC

Home interiors company Obelisk Home LLC opened Nov. 15 at 214 W. Phelps St., Ste. 101. The 3,200-square-foot shop sells residential furnishings, including rugs, upholstered furniture, and international art and antiques. The name Obelisk refers to an ancient Egyptian square stone monument with a tapered top. Owners J. Kent Martin and Nathan Taylor - of Taylor-Martin Holdings - also own and manage design firm BridgeBlue Sourcing Partners LLC and luxury pet accessory shop Unleashed Life in the Inspired Commerce building at the same location. Buzz

Buzz restaurant opened Dec. 1 at 1360 E. Republic Road. Owners Deborah Bellotti and Candice Carson manage the restaurant and handle most of the food preparation. In October, they leased the site - formerly Jambalaya Cajun restaurant - and completely renovated it to serve 40 customers. Buzz offers specialty coffees and homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and soup, salad and sandwiches for lunch. The restaurant also provides drive-through service.
