Clark has 13 years of experience in the tailoring business, previously working for Jo-Ann fabric and craft stores. She said the majority of work since opening has been repair and alterations for customers who want to avoid spending a lot of money for new clothes, and alterations to new garments purchased at sale prices. Clark charges $8 to hem a pair of men's casual pants and $12 for those with cuffs. Hours: 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Phone: (417) 833-0337.

The business sells toys and games for infants to young teens, including educational games, books, science kits, and dress-up costumes for boys and girls. Hours: 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, noon-6 p.m. Sunday. Phone: (417) 882-4800.[[In-content Ad]]Compiled by Barbara Burgess.
