Pacific Kitchen LLC opened May 2 at 839 N. Glenstone Ave., in space previously occupied by Captain D's restaurant. Co-owners Quan Le and Linh Duong manage the 64-seat Chinese restaurant with 12 employees. A $3.89 daily lunch special includes cashew chicken or sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, two wontons and an egg roll. Together, Le and Duong have more than 10 years of restaurant experience. Squibb Law Firm PC opened an Ash Grove branch May 4 at 100 E. Main St. The general law practice - with a main office at 3840 S. Cox Ave., Ste. F-102, in Springfield - focuses on state and federal civil defense, product liability and insurance litigation. Owner Wallace Squibb started the firm in March 2008 after 15 years with Turner, Reid, Duncan, Loomer & Patton PC. In late 2008, newly licensed attorney Philip Hopper joined the firm; the two attorneys will cover both offices. Relics Antique Mall LLC opened May 3 at 1001 Daniel Drive, off Interstate 44 Exit 46, in Mount Vernon. Owners Matthew and Beverly Robb and their son, Harrison, of Republic, purchased the business, formerly Nana's Antique Mall, from Glen Williams and retained its three employees. Relics sells merchandise on consignment as well as antiques, furniture, Missouri wines, and preowned designer handbags and fur coats, the owners said. The Robbs have been in the antique business in Fort Worth, Texas, for more than 25 years. Hours: 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon-5:30 p.m. Sunday.
