Springfield Flower & Gifts LLC Carrie Donaldson opened Springfield Flower & Gift Co. LLC on Jan. 4 at 1300 E. Sunshine St., Ste. A. The company offers fresh and silk flowers and plants. Deliveries are available in Springfield and the surrounding area, Donaldson said, and they are free to local hospitals and funeral homes. Donaldson said her business is in leased space previously occupied by Springfield Flower Co., which closed. Its former owners, Ian Shelton and Kelly Anderson, are now working with Donaldson, showing her the ropes of the business for a brief time. The store’s inventory also features gifts, and Donaldson said she and her sister, Christie Hill, her only other employee, are working to add a baby boutique. ARIS Home & Energy Inspections LLC Aaron and Kasha Driskill, owners of ARIS Home Inspection LLC, launched an energy division Dec. 1 and renamed their business ARIS Home & Energy Inspections LLC. ARIS – American Residential Inspection Services – is based in the Driskills’ Billings home and has been open for roughly 10 years, Aaron Driskill said. The new division primarily handles energy audits, using tools including an infrared camera. “I’ll look at your home, and look for infiltration, active water leaks, missing insulation (and) any wiring connection that has an overloaded circuit or a connection that’s loose,” Driskill said. “If a homeowner has an excessive utility bill, I can pinpoint exactly where the leaks are coming from.” ARIS also offers some weatherization services, such as weather-stripping. Eyecrave Photography Photographer James Pauls opened Eyecrave Photography on Dec. 1 at 2209 Petrus Circle in Ozark. Eyecrave offers digital commercial and stock photography and portraits. Pauls has about 10 years of photography experience, and he said most of his work is in stock photography. He has submitted more than 13,000 pictures to iStockphoto, a member-generated image and design community. He also has a Getty Images portfolio, according to www.eyecravephotography.com.
