Springfield YamahaSpringfield Yamaha opened Feb. 2 in a $2 million, 18,000-square-foot store at 5183 E. Kearney St. The business is owned by Troy Titus and Jeff Mutchler, through Mid-Missouri Motorsports LLC. Titus has owned Lebanon Cycle Center for 20 years. Project financing is through Central Bank in Lebanon. The store sells Yamaha motorcycles, which include cruisers, sport and touring bikes, and dirt bikes. “Everything’s become so specialized now,” Titus said. “Back in the old days, you had three bikes, and now, they’ve found these little niches and everybody kind of goes one direction or another.” Also offered are all-terrain vehicles, scooters, generators and side-by-side utility vehicles. The store also has a parts and service department. Springfield Yamaha has 10 workers with plans to hire up to 20 by the end of the year, Titus said. Dents UnlimitedDents Unlimited consolidated two locations in December to 3131 S. Campbell Ave. The auto body repair company also had operations at 221 S. National Ave. Owner Steve Cox said the 19-year-old company specializes in paintless dent removal for automobile dents, dings and hail damage, as well as full-service collision repair, framework, paint and bodywork, and auto detailing. Cox said renovations at the 9,600-square-foot Campbell building created the necessary work bays. “It did require some financing,” he said, declining to disclose the cost, “and I was able to absorb some myself.” Dents Unlimited employs nine. Luigi’s Pizza Kitchen Inc.Luigi’s Pizza Kitchen at 107 W. Aldersgate, Ste. 4, Nixa, is under new ownership. Michael Bleil bought the Nixa restaurant, in Main Street Plaza, in January from Chris Jordan, who owns Luigi’s in Branson. Bleil leases the 4,000-square-foot space with seating for 70. He said he used a combination of U.S. Small Business Administration funds and an undisclosed amount from private investors to purchase the eatery. Bleil plans to keep the Luigi’s menu, which includes pizza, pasta and sandwiches, and introduce seafood recipes from his seven years as owner of Crabshack Seafood Market in Nixa.
