Steak -N- Shake, 2760 N. Glenstone; Critical violations found: 2. *A few bowls of baked beans were 57 F in one refrigerator. Promptly discarded (Must hold at 41 F of below.) Refrigerator was being repaired during inspection and was down to 39 F before exit. *One dipper well had heavy buildup of debris and was in use. Cleaned and sanitized prior to exit. (Must clean and sanitize more frequently.). Noncritical violations found: 2.

Village Mart No. 20 Deli, 1450 N. Glenstone; Facility was cooking and selling pizza without a permit and had several violations. They were informed to discontinue food preparation until a permit was obtained. Critical violations found: 3. *Person in charge is not knowledgeable of food safety. (Person in charge must be knowledgeable of food safety.). *Utensils are not being washed - rinsed - sanitized. (Must wash-rinse-sanitize utensils at least every four hours or more frequently.) *Facility only had one drain plug for three-vat sink. (Must have 3 drain plugs for sink.) Waffle House Inc., 2800 N. Kansas; Discussed not having a large quantity of eggs out of refrigeration; employee cooks cannot wear nail polish or false fingernails. Critical violations found: 1. *Employee used same gloved hand to put raw meat on grill and went on to touch ready-to-eat foods with same glove (Gloves should be changed when switching between tasks, gloves only needed to be worn when working with ready to eat products. Corrected while on site). Noncritical violations found: 6.

Wendy’s, 225 W. Sunshine; Critical violations found: 1. *Chance of cross contamination when grill cook places raw meat patties on grill with patty papers and then bags ready-to-eat fries. Discussed with manager ways to prevent this from occurring. Noncritical violations found: 2.[[In-content Ad]]
