One Big Brick

Acme Brick Co.’s Springfield sales office, 2325 W. Battlefield Road, held a special luncheon Oct. 23 to introduce Baby Clay, officially the world’s biggest brick at nearly 3,000 times the size of a regular brick. At left, Acme Regional Manager Dave Martin measures up to Baby Clay, which is 39 inches tall, 39 inches wide and 116 inches long.

Baby Clay weighs more than 6,000 pounds. Workers at Acme’s Denton, Texas, plant spent more than three years creating the brick, which has been confirmed by Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest brick in the world. [[In-content Ad]]
