Show Me your license
Licenses with a new format and enhanced security features are now being issued by the Missouri Department of Revenue. On any driver license, permit or nondriver license a ghost portrait of the applicant appears at the bottom of the license. Other security features include an outline of the state of Missouri and the words "Show Me" across the front of the license visible under ultraviolet light, printed data overlapping the ghost portrait and a two-dimensional barcode on the back of the license.
Jefferson City, Fulton, Columbia and St. Louis have already started issuing the licenses. New licenses are expected to be available to Springfield by the last week of May. New security features will assist the Department of Revenue and law enforcement agencies in fraudulent document investigations.
