International ‘Clue’

Parkview High School students are taking their production of “Clue: The Musical” on the road June 21 to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to participate in the International Thespian Festival. According to theater teacher and company manager David Krudwig, Parkview is the first Springfield school to be selected to participate in the festival. “It’s a weeklong festival in which eight of the best main stage shows throughout the United States and Canada will perform. We perform twice,” Krudwig said. There are eight members in the musical’s cast, and 20 crew members. He said each of the rooms in the Clue board game are represented in the set, and Prime Trucking is volunteering a truck and services to transport the set.

“Clue: The Musical” will be presented at 8 p.m. June 18 at Parkview High School. Tickets are $5 each and are available through the school at (417) 895-2775.
