Baptist Bible College's natural science department received a $3,000 grant from the Bess Spiva Timmons Foundation to upgrade its outdated equipment.
The Springfield Symphony was awarded a grant from The Community Foundation of the Ozarks for the purchase of hardware which will provide the main support for a new computer system in the symphony offices. The grant money came specifically from the following Community Foundation funds: The James K. and Jettie M. Cook Fund; The Jobe Family Funds; and The Jessie M. Ross Fund.
