Children's Choirs of Southwest Missouri recieved a grant of $2,000 from the Community Foundation of the Ozarks to help defer costs of purchasing music for the upcoming performance season. More than 200 area students participate in five graded choirs.
The Children's Miracle Network of Cox Health Systems has distributed the $1,025,834 in donations pledged during the 1998 campaign. Twenty-six percent ($262,273.91) was used for equipment, educational and community programs; 24 percent ($247,560) for Family Care Grants; 24 percent ($247,000.09) was deposited in the Special Needs Fund; 25 percent ($260,00) went to the CARE Mobile Program; and 1 percent ($10,000) was put into the Consumers Endowment Fund.[[In-content Ad]]
