The Regional Economic Development Steering Committee will hold its third public forum 6-7 p.m. Dec. 2 at Empire Bank in Nixa, located at the corner of State Highway 160 and 14.
According to Greg Williams, director of business and industry attraction for the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, the meeting will introduce the concept of regional economic development in a 10-county area and seek input on regional economic development strategies.
The steering committee is developing goals and objectives for a regional industry-attraction program to begin in the second quarter of 1999, according to Williams.
