The October 1998 issue of Auto Inc. includes a profile of Broemmer Automotive Technologies, located at State Highways 215 and 65 in Fair Grove. Auto Inc. is the official publication of the Automotive Service Association (ASA).
The article, written by Levy Joffrion, examines the successful business built by 29-year-old Frederick L. "Chip" Broemmer in just two years. The company has five employees working in a 2,100-square-foot former grocery store that was converted to an automotive shop.
Broemmer uses ASA-certified mechanics and the latest diagnostic and repair equipment. He credits part of his success to a great location and the abundance of high-mileage, out-of-warranty cars being driven by area residents to jobs in Springfield.
Broemmer Automotive Technologies is a state inspection station, AAA-approved automotive repair and offers a 90-days-same-as-cash financing program through ASA's Norwest program. For more information, call Broemmer at 759-7792.
