The engineering and design firm, based in Lincoln, Neb., will present a check at Habitat’s annual meeting in January.
“So much of our work at Olsson Associates is about building better communities through good design and solid engineering,” said Kevin Lowe, manager of Olsson’s Springfield office, in a news release. “That’s the sort of thing Habitat for Humanity understands.”
The donation will be used to underwrite the local Habitat chapter’s largest annual fund-raiser, Tool Belts and Bow Ties, scheduled for November, according to the release.
Olsson also made a $5,000 donation to the Habitat affiliate in Tuscon, Ariz.
