The Springfield office is in a temporary location at 3051 S. Kimbrough, Ste. E, where it will remain until February, when it will move to a larger, undisclosed location, according to a company news release.
Olsson Associates provides engineering, planning, landscape architecture, surveying, building system commissioning, construction observation and environmental science services. Initially, the Springfield office is providing services in transportation, water resources, surveying, and land planning and development.
“Springfield is a rapidly growing community full of both residential and commercial activity,” said Chip Corcoran, regional manager for Olsson Associates in the Springfield and Kansas City markets, in the release.
Kevin Lowe, former Greene County highway administrator, is the company’s first new employee for the Springfield office, where several staff members from the Kansas City metropolitan area have transferred.
