Olive Garden owner's shares jump on strong sales, raised outlook

Olive Garden owner Darden Restaurants' shares jumped 4.5 percent after the company reported better-than-expected earnings and sales.

The company that also owns LongHorn Steakhouse and Yard House raised its forecast for fiscal 2018 to a range of $4.45 to $4.53 per share.

Darden's quarterly earnings were $84.7 million on $1.88 billion in revenue.
