Old Missouri Bank opened a new branch in Buffalo, nearly 40 miles north of Springfield.
The 3,808-square-foot branch, 1200 W. Dallas St., replaces the company's location at 919 W. Dallas St., according to a news release. The original branch, a former Great Southern Bank location, closed on March 5.
“We’ve been very proud to serve families and businesses in Buffalo since opening our first branch in 2016,” said Mark Harrington, president and CEO of Old Missouri Bank, in the release. “We think OMB customers are really going to like this newer, more convenient location and look forward to elevating that community bank experience they’ve enjoyed the past six years.”
Company officials declined to disclose the price of the building purchased in March 2021. Remodeling costs also were undisclosed, with Williams Construction and Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective working on the project. The building previously was operated by U.S. Bank.
Features include wider drive-thru lanes and a pull-around parking lot, according to the release.
Austin Mooneyham, community bank president, and Penny Morgans, branch manager, are among eight Old Missouri Bank employees in Buffalo who moved to the new branch.
The company's website lists eight branches.
